If Ever a Dog's Story Would Pull At Your Heart Strings...

Sadie originally came into the Bedford County Animal Shelter in rough shape. She was full of milk after very recently having puppies. She also had a skin infection. FOBCAS sponsored her vet care so that her she would get some relief. We also decided to sponsored her spay once her milk dried up (she has now been spayed). Then much to our delight, she quickly found a great home. Unfortunately, due to circumstances that left both her family and Sadie absolutely heartbroken, she is now back at the shelter. She is so depressed shut down. We spent a lot of time with her yesterday. She seemed so thankful for all of the attention and kindness she received. Though she was hesitant at first and shy. Once she was returned to her kennel, she simply laid in her plastic bed for the rest of the day. She experienced a home and loving family for a little while. She longs for a third chance at a forever home. Please consider opening up your heart and your home for this wonderful girl. For more information, please email fobcasfriends@gmail.com. You can also call Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter at 540-586-7690.

She is not in FOBCAS care, we are promoting for the Bedford County Animal Shelter and we cannot guarantee the health of any of the animals available for adoption.
