IN/Denver

Meet Denver! Denver, a male Brittany mix, is about two and a half  years old. Unfortunately, his owners returned him to the shelter because he "chewed a lot" and had separation anxiety. That's when NBRAN stepped in. His foster home has five other dogs and a cat and he gets along great with them. Denver has a very sweet personality, but is unsure of people initially. However, he quickly acclimates to his environment! His foster dad reports that he does well with the other dogs and loves to play with his fur siblings both outside as well as inside! But once the sun sets he just likes to curl up on the floor by the couch and relax. He is a door dasher/darter so could use some training with basic commands and will do best in a home with other dogs and with an owner that can be around him. Ideally, an individual that works from home.

Denver is neutered, is UTD on his vaccinations and has been treated for Heartworm disease. He is house trained and create trained, but doesn't like being alone. In his foster home, he shares a crate with his Brittany sister and that has worked out great! Denver is a known Door Dasher, so you have to be careful when opening the door. He also has car sickness, so he will need to be adopted within a 4-6 hour radius of Indianapolis at most. He would not be a good candidate for long car trips!

If you are interested in adopting Denver, please contact Deb at dsrodrigu@gmail.com. Denver's adoption fee is $325.
